Spent a very pleasant afternoon wine tasting at this vineyard. 6 free tastings of red and white wine plus a glass of port in the lovely sunshine. Pauline and Bernie pretended they hadn't been much before, but both the owners recognised Pauline immediately. As it's important to support local businesses we decided to purchase several bottles. Hopefully will get to drink them at the family gathering on Saturday.
Prior to the vineyard we visited this year's lottery house. This is a enormous new house packed with other goodies for which you are invited to purchase a lottery ticket as a fund raiser for the children's hospital - Includes car, furniture and cleaning staff for a year. The master bedroom alone was bigger than our complete upper floor at home.
